What vehicles do you cover on this European breakdown cover policy?

This European breakdown cover with 24/7 assistance will provide cover for either a car, 4x4, SUV, MPV, light van, camper van, motorhome, or motorcycle privately registered in the United Kingdom. This may include a leased vehicle and company cars provided you have the hirer’s permission to take the car abroad.

I am towing a caravan, what is the max length?

Our European Breakdown Cover policy defines that a caravan or trailer should not exceed (excluding the tow bar/hitch and including any load carried) the following gross vehicle weight and dimensions: 3,500kg in weight, 8m in length, 3m in height and 2.55m in width.

I'm driving a Camper Van or Motorhome, what are the maximum vehicle dimensions?

Our European Breakdown Cover policies define that a vehicle must not exceed (including any load carried) the following gross vehicle weight and dimensions; 3,500kg in weight, 8m in length, 3m in height and 2.55m in width.

Why do you have age bands for the vehicles on this European Breakdown Cover policy?

As vehicles get older they are more liable to encounter problems and so the Underwriters have imposed age restrictions on the policy.

Our European breakdown policies provide breakdown cover for vehicles up to and including the age of 15, but they must be under 16 years old at the start date of the Policy.
