FAQ - When does my policy start and end?

Your cover starts from the moment you leave your home or office in the UK and provides cover to your departure port or to the Eurotunnel complex, whilst your in Europe and until such time as you return back to your home address in the UK.

In terms of duration the policy will start at 00.01 on the day shown as your policy start date and will expire at 23.59:59 on the last day shown on the policy. You are covered between these two times on those dates.

Example 

A policy with 3 days cover from the 1st to the 3rd of December will be in force from 00.00:01 on the morning of the 1st of December and be valid until 23.59:59 on the 3rd of December. After this time the policy is no longer in force and you will need to have returned back to the United Kingdom.
